Time Passes Ever Onward

And Birthdays as ever pass us by. I turned 34, just days ago (June 8). At work about two weeks ago, I was talking to a coworker about how sometimes I forget how old I am. I told her how I then figure out what its is, I subtract one from the current year and count back the decades to 70. She said I shouldn't mention that I couldn't remember my age to people, but I said something, that interested and surprised me. I said my age didn't weigh that heavily on my mind. I thought that's probably a good thing. I'm not worried about getting older, I am somewhat contented in life. I have a good job, but I still have ambitions which I am pursuing. But generally I am happy with where I am in life. I think that's a good way to be. So, let the celebrations ensue.

Although I do think I could stand to lose a few pounds
and I could use a girlfriend. So, not totally content,
but it's good enough for now.
